Lunch with Marie

Last Sunday lunch time we were invited to the apartment of  a French friend, Marie . Marie is from Paris and is an excellent cook, so we had a very French meal  including caviar, salad, meat, cheese and desert plus appropriate wines, all in the 'correct' order. This all led to really good conversation and the most enjoyable afternoon .We all look pretty happy! Marie at far end of table.

Marie moved here because her (only child ) son had married an Australian girl. Their children are now in the bilingual school we helped initiate, so Marie is very happy here and extremely grateful for our French organisation, especialy as she struggles with English!
