Marlow and birthday
A visit to riverside Marlow with Jacqui and Louis to feed the ducks on the river and for Louis to have his first ride on a roundabout London bus. He wan't very happy to be taken off the bus!!
A statue celebrates local hero Steve Redgrave, who won rowing gold in 5 consecutive Olympics and for every Olympian who wind gold, a post box is painted in gold paint in their town.
While Jacqui took Louis home for a sleep, Mary and I had lunch in the George and Dragon with old schoolmate Cliff and wife Ann, then they drove us home, in their Mercedes!
I include a pic of where we are staying, with cousin Valerie, on her 5 acres of farmland. Weather brilliant so far--30Deg C !
In the evening, all the family that I could find joined us for my birthday meal in the Nag's Head in Great Missenden.
