We have been to Tarr Steps, Mortehoe, Dunster Castle and to see the tallest tree in England. A lot of pics, difficult to select a few and internet link is slow.
I'll start with a pic of the house and our bedroom. The house is set in 1000 acres of active farmland (all of which the owner manages herself, since she bought her husband a Porsche last year and he ran off with the car and a younger woman--well-she didn't say it was confidential!
Tarr steps is a beautiful forest/river walk with a fording point, which Grand - nephew Matthew decided to cross, fell in and got helped by a lady and her daughter! We saw logs studded with coins (equivalent of padlocks on river bridges)
At Mortehoe, we had a splendid coastal walk followed by an unsplendid time on a deserted beach in light rain!
At Dunster, we saw the pretty village and Castle (dating from 1066--Domesday Book
