Driving around Manila requires nerves of steel, as everyone cuts in on everyone else, but the only car horns you hear are quick beeps to indicate attention. I never saw anyone annoyed.
'Mass' transport is by things called 'Jeepneys'which are elongated versions of the jeeps left by the USA army after they left the area at end of WWII. They just abandoned everything where it was and shipped out.
It is impossible to walk on the pavements safely, most pics taken from moving car window! Small 'cars' are used as well as tricycles, small motorbikes and almost anything else with an engine and wheels. Shanty businesses on the roadside sell food, repair bikes -anything. They're very crowded.
