Move to Aylesbury and a booking!

We left John and Lesley yesterday and drove to Aylesbury--Weston Turville--home of my cousin Valerie and her two very friendly dogs--Bertie and Dottie.

On the M1 we passed one overturned truck and one nose-to-tail collision in the centre lane, all amongst dense traffic--not good.

In view of the weather (which actually could improve)  and feeling the closeness of all that Europe offers, we made a booking yesterday to go to Paphos in Cyprus for nearly a week, starting Thursday, travelling by Ryanair to appartments Appollonia in Paphos (well-recommended on Trip-Advisor).

Having just made it, we, of course,  had that "What have we just done?" feeling
