Today, following an overnight camp at Camp Coutts, I joined our French Group for the Forest Path walk, lead by Ludivine.
The walk was again a real pleasure on a hot day. as there is so much shade and the forest does look spectacular. There was even some faint odour of decomposing leaves -so reminiscent of European forests.
There is young Ethan, deep in the hollow of a burned-out tree--holding a bright feather.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
