New Horizons -first concert

Similar to U3A, New Horizons is a global organisation of voluntary bands for retired people who want to take up a musical instrument or are returning to music or try a different instrument.

Our group started about a year ago and we held our first concert in our band hall this week, under the encouraging eye of our conductor--Jenny. To be open, there were two or three more experienced people who joined in, to 'assist'!

There was a good audience of family and friends and the band enjoyed a meal together afterwards.
