Nice
Blessed with great weather, we toured the old part of Nice then went to the beach and later we visited the ancient buildings on the hill behind us. It was started by the Celtic Liguans, which no-one had heard of and Craig thought sounded like a vegetable!
The first pic is the view from our bedroom window, then the overall beach, followed two 'Vieille Nice' street scenes and some from the Celtic Ligurian fort, including a waterfall and a view down over Old Nice. The seguay vehicles are very popular.
I like the philosophical graffiti that adorn public places. The Mackays apartement is in a block dated from 1629!
We also went to the (very pebbly) beach. Water was great--warm and clear.
