Niece Philippa

Niece Philippa and boys joined us and Jacqui (plus Max and Louis) at Hughenden Manor for a picnic lunch, with many other families there on school holidays. It was a stroke of genius from the NationalTrust to put small wheelbarrows in a garden corner for the smaller children. Impossible to get them away; they were happy for hours.

Final pic--at Paddington Station,ready to board our train to Devon, where we picked up a Peugeot 2008 model (not year) hire car to drive to relatives (Sally and Robin) who live in a 14th century house in Stoke Gabriel.

Art Exhibition

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
