Our band tour in Goulburn
Our New Horizons Band went to Goulburn for a couple of days , to perform in their Conservatorium of music--a community run facility for the local people.
We enjoyed good weather. and in some spare time and for exercise, I did a brisk walk along the Wollondilly riverside, which was very pleasant.
Goulburn is the oldest inland town in NSW and as often happens has some fine buildings, constructed during the gold rush or from sheep farming. These buildings are some of the oldest in the country as the cities came much later.
The 'crowded room' was our lunch hall the final night (we cooked everything ourselves) --it made me realise how many we have in the band--and there's more who couldn't come!
