Oxford
A good day in the Ashmolean (from 1683!) and Pitt Rivers Museums, plus a streetwalk amongst the colleges.

We took Park and Ride from Bicester so the centre of Oxford is almost completely free of cars--just public buses and bicycles of course! Our attention was drawn to the history of the Aegean where we had visited on the cruise. Today we saw original artifacts whereas the ones in the actual city museums in Greece etc were only copies!
We then moved into the, connected, ever fascinating Pitt Rivers museum.
We finished the day with dinner in a pub-the Chandos- in Weston Turville where I took a pic and barmaid Kelcey gave permission to be on the blog
