Paris to Foxham-David and Claire's Wedding

The Eurostar was amazing--the speed and ease of use. Mary tucked in to her Waitrose salad sold by a French lady in the dining car.

We hit bank holiday traffic on collecting our AVIS car at Ashford, spent a night at Emsworth (picture shows our red Vauxhal hire car)  then a horrid motorway journey followed by a splendid wedding day, of our nephew David,  in some remote barn somewhere in Berkshire.The children are our great nephews and niece. The main meal was in the form of a hamper on each table--a rustic touch to match the farm-like atmosphere and very nice.
