Personal update 24.1.2019

I saw the surgeon 9.00am and when asked which hospital I'd chosen I said the public one

"Wise choice" she said. I think some people always choose private but she more or less warned me off!

The date will be Wednesday  March 13th and the admission papers say '3 hours' surgery. This gives her enough time to order the right length segmented pvc washing machine outlet  tube from Miele, to replace my arteries!

She then had to read out all the horrible unlikely things that could potentially happen, but was quite dismissive .

Not much else to do now.

I see the G/E consultant on Monday and will discuss when colonoscopy can be done but I think everything will be held off until after surgery.
