Pont en Royans

Today we visited some villages and towns outside the boundaries of the Vercors Region. This one is exceptional in its location in a gorge, leading to some worrying balcony constructions!

and some medieval passageways...........and attractive cascades of water from the hills

We left Pont-en-Royans via a series of precipitally located roadss and tunnels--where one does not stop to take pics--just drive and hope nothing else happens!

After this and several other towns, we came across the local war cemetary and later were guests on a dairy farm, for a magnificent farm banquet--- vachement incroyable!
