Princes Risborough
Nearby is this 'Royal Village' with a very quaint main street and a real 'story book' small forest brick house with wonky windows and beams etc. A plaque reveals that the famous aviator, Amy Johnson, lived there . The first person to fly across the channel I think. To think that she was brought up in a sort of red riding hood house and then flew the first plane is incongruous, I think.
A pic with Caryl outside another old house and street, alleyway scenes.
There an excellent shoeshop there and so between us we bought 3 pairs --all started by Mary!
