This evening I joined with several other people at Como Pub, who are members of a national non-aligned internet political protest group called 'Get Up'.
The plan is to get similar groups all around the country to meet with their Federal MP's to debate the environment and the language and policies used to deal with asylum seekers in Australia.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
