Region Camp 2011--Cataract

Weekend of 10th to 13th June was Region Camp for S.Met Region.  I went there on Sunday--escaping the chill and mist of Blackheath for a day.

The camp was a buzz of activities --rather  like a self-constructed 'Scout Theme and Activity Park'. Our whole contigent on Sunday, with Cub and Joey visitors,  numbered over 60 and we invested two new leaders, Wombat and Ele and new youth members into all sections. Our parent committee again did and excellent job of catering and the whole thing in detail will be on our 1st Carinbah website and Facebook pages.

On arrival I was immediately 'harnessed' and sent up the climbing wall--first three pics after the entrance sign!
