Rotary International District Meeting

With only 3 days warning, on a Wednesday evening, Rotary Miranda asked for 5 scouts to present the flags at the opening ceremony of 200 delegates at a conference at Oliympic Park, Sydney, in the Novotel conference room.

Four scouts volunteered on Thursday night. That night the scouts were dressed for Halloween --looking very scary---fortunately they managed to get into normal scout gear for the Saturday morning presentation!

Rotary International are rumoured to be considering sponsorship of Scouting as a major project for next year, which is an excellent idea (not that I'm biased at all!)
