Rothley

A neighbour from Harrow, Lesley and husband, John, generously  invited us for a couple of days, from where we were able to visit friends at at Stathern and Tollerton. We enjoyed seeing a lot of Olympic events with them on TV.

Not only that, but I had misjudged my B pressure tablets and just run out. Lesley took me to a GP who checked my (just renewed) British passport , checked our post restante address in Prestwood and issued me with NHS cover for 16 days plus a script! So I got the pills , free under the Australian / British reciprocal agreement and his offer to attend to any other problems I might have!

From there we were able to visit Stathern and then Tollerton where friends Geoff and Hilary live, but we did not take any pics that I recall.
