Rowledge is the village where friends Ginny and Robert reside. They have a great garden and Ginny pulled a newt from their pond to show me.
Mary was desperate to see bluebells so we went to Winkworth Arboretum, where there were field after field of them. We had an evening meal, the night before, at a pub called, appropriately, The Bluebell and visited Robert's very productive allotment, number 7a-7aa.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
