Sandhills

For our Tuesday walk we (three)  changed the habit of several years and went the opposite direction into the local sandhills--or what's left of them. Far less crowded.

There's been a huge new housing development--in the background on the right side of this pic. If it looks to you as if the houses are lower than the sea on the left -you're right! Now who would decide to live a few hundred yards from the sea, and at a lower level than to sea?  An Australian!! A seaside house at any cost.
