We enjoyed lunch with a relative, Sally, husband Robin and one of their daughters, Violet in their splendid garden.
The house itself has medieval origins -with modern studio extensions for Sally's painting. They very kindly presented me with a book which may throw light on our family Tudor origins!

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
