Short walk with friends

A short loop walk at Kurnell with friend Carol, her daughter Holly and husband Dave. Dave has become quite an Australian naturalist and walks with him are very  interesting and informative. We found a beehive in the  hollow of a tree--there is yellow beeswax above  the cavity--the comb is inside-- and Dave also spotted a variety of ants and termite trails as well as some edible seeds and leaves of common bush plants. Holly saw a tiny water dragon and quite a few other small plants and creatures as well as more of the big tree black bulges, which are huge ants nests!
