So many varieties

Wednesday June 9th--a fast, clean, comfortable and on-time intercity train, each seat fitted with internet and 'phone charging sockets-- took us to York in two hours, to be met by a relative --Dorothy. We lunched in Dean's Court and toured the quaint city centre--a living and vivid monument to centuries of crucial British historical events, from Doomsday to 2010. There were also street performers--see pic!
The return trip was livened by two adjoining student passengers--a male outspoken environmentalist -the other an Afrikaans speaking girl, whose parents farm elephants, giraffe, lions, hippopotami and rhinoceri on 2000 hectares of Cape farm land. Milking time must be a challenge!
