Every year the gardens look different . This year with sweet peas in the front as well as back gardens, Californian poppies, several Aquilegia and the yellow rose really blossoming, the front is crowded with over 20 different plants in bloom this week, lobelia, alyssum, hibiscus, rose, poppies, sweet peas, dianthus, feverfew, water irises, pond lillies, salvias, hippeastrum, ageratum, arum lillies, pansies, unknown lilly, geraniums, cornflower etc etc...

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
