South Sudan support night

We attended a night where, after a meal, people from S. Sudan explained the current plight of their country and performed songs and dance for the audience.They are such a tall race and dress so elegantly.

A network of young Australian -based people have started a campaign to raise money through Anglican Aid to help the 800,000 refugees suffering deprivation in fleeing from the militias ravaging their villages and killing the civilians.

One woman explained how the main problem is power-hungry men in government who have no compassion for their population. A problem common to many nations , including, on a smaller scale,  some western democracies, where women and children are considered expendable.
