SW Arm and rabbits!

Last Friday we did the Wally's Wharf to Alice Falls trip again, but this time in perfect weather for a change!

The pic is morning tea near the end of SW Arm. The usual suspects all munching and chatting in true bloke-like fashion.

Yesterday Mary found a rabbit on 'Gumtree' , that had only just been 'posted' there and we found we were the first to respond, the first of many, so we had to rush to get it. Our birthday present for Louis, turning 8 next weekend. It turned out be a pedigree europen something--very cute and 18 months old. The senior couple who owned it said they were out so much that it was not fair to the rabbit.

Louis named it Scamper and was thrilled. He has a demonstrated aptitude for showing patience with pets, so we are sure it will work out OK.
