The footpath that I saved!

Yes, I really did.

While cycling along it today (which is forbidden!) I recalled that I had served on the Community  representative committee when our rail line was upgraded in 2010. At one meeting it was mentioned that this path, (then just a track) near Woolooware Station  was to be eliminated.

I objected (I was the only one) and said that I used it and that so did many others. The next month I learned that it was to be saved. So I think I deserve my Scout Citizenship badge--this is what it's all about.

All committee members received a plaque --but they didn't name the path after me, but I might get fined if I'm caught cycling on it!
