The last day

Sunday August 1st--a visit to Chalfont for a walk in Burnham Beeches with long-time friends Chris and Jennifer--a tradition to see them on the last day!

We had a last meal with the family at an Italian restaurant -- where Jacqui, Tom and Michael shared some thoughts about their future plans....all to be seen in good time.

Final pic of our Scout Hostel (which was alive with scouts and leaders--very busy). A very cost-effective location and such a central location in Kensington, near tube stations and the major museums, Harrods etc etc.

As a 'foot-note (and a VERY weak pun)--it turned out that Chris had suffered from plantar faciitis as well, similarly Geoff and Patsy Ridgway--so I am not alone--and it DOES get better!
