The moon and French Market

The other night we were treated to a 'Supermoon', the largest it will be for many years and before a total  eclipse next month.  We had our third French Market in four years today and as suspected, it was bigger and better attended than even last year.

We have a reputation now running the largest and best French market in Sydney. Something like 4000 people. Considering it's an annual primary school fete as well, it's pretty good by comparison with most school fetes. It's run by our French assn plus school admin and school parents. We have to turn some applicants away as they do not meet our criteria for a real French ownership or connection. We are over-subscribed.

A member and his brother dressed up as a revolutionary soldier and the other as a gentlemen representing the aristocracy. Not sure if got guillotined at the end. Forgot to take pic of the new Renault range on display.

The food stands were all well attended-especially the raclette stall. Some stalls had to re-stock three times in the six hours!
