The Wedding!

Ever keen to be different, having walked two daughters down a church aisle, Jacqui had me walk her 15 minutes down Islington High Street from the hotel to the town hall! It looks as if Jacqui is inspecting my shoes!

Islington town hall, it must be said, is a splendid old building with many weddings taking place. After our 15 minutes there, then photos on the steps, we boarded a vintage single-decker red bus for the 'Gun' restaurant at Greenwich, the pub where Nelson met his wife-to-be, Emma. There were 82 pewter tankards above our heads!

Following a splendid wedding breakfast, we reboarded the bus for a river trip to Westminster, where they cut the cake and the  the day ended.
