The Windmill

The Windmill that I booked so long ago, is amazing--5 levels--every pic is a different level, starting at the top. There are 5 bedrooms , as many bathrooms and toilets and sleeps 9. The owner is quite particular about entering and leaving times as it takes a lot of work to prepare for new residents. The lighting and plumbing are brilliant, too.

61 steps and 5 main flights to our bedroom on top floor! It's so well fitted out too. 5  bedrooms, beds for 9 people and an owner with a very warm and jolly welcoming manner. The place was built in  1790 and designed to nuclear shelter standards, judging by the walls and double glazing. All the furnishings are sumptuous.

Oh-nearly forgot, the Cotswolds are running alive with pheasants--bred for the shooting season -colourful birds--rarely seen elsewhere.
