Theatre - A Knight to Remember!

A leaflet with our council rates caught our attention as being a bit 'quirky', so we got tickets to this 'medieval' performance by the Royal Opera House Ensemble at a local small theatre.

'Royal' in this case means Royal National Park Opera , not THE Opera house! The group  was however, formed in 1872 , almost 100 yeqars after the RNP was proclaimed a national park and the oldest national park in the world.

( Eat your heart out, Yellowstone!)

It was a sort of Medieval gang show with some  professional acts of adults and children, including music written by a famous Australian composer who also played the piano for the evening, plus some very Monty Python like sketches with knights and Ladies and a jester. It was a light evening of fun. We also won a bottle of wine in a raffle!
