Three day New Horizons Band Tour in Blue Mountains
We stayed in a converted dairy in Leura. The conversion is spectacular--all modern conveniences set in old timbers and metalwork from the dairy--incredibly imaginative.
We played first (first band picture below) in the grounds of a nursing home in Leura--the Ritz, which it isn't (!) and today at a community hall in Blaxland with the Blaxland Ukelele Group (The Bugs) and in the afternoon, on the balcony of the the Norman Lindsay Gallery, at Faulconbridge, in beautiful weather.
Thursay night saw several band members talking advantage of the hot tub.
On return from Faulconbridge, Alf and I, who shared the same cottage, found we had left the key inside. So, with Alf's RAAF survival training and my scouting initiative--we managed OK, without calling for assistance, as you will see below.
