More pics-re-edited--- Tombs and a beach--last day

Yesterday we visited the 'Tombs of the Kings' --an extensive ancient site in Paphos, where wealthy families were buried. It dates back 2000BC, so ranks with the pyramids in Egypt. It has been extensively damaged by earthquakes but a lot remains.

When we got on the bus to go to Coral beach, we were amazed to find the Dutch families on it as well--so we spent a happy few hours with them in the sea and having lunch. It was also the birthday of Jyp.

I will show the beach pictures first. Some are not clear as I had water on the lens of my camera. I had a serious moment when Idropped the camera in some rocks, but a kind Norwegian man dived and recovered it for me.

I took underwater pics but the one of Tess did not come out well--sorry.

Gys is going to practice now to improve his technique (so  send me the pics, Gyp!) bmhead@bigpond.net.au

We have arrived back in UK now and are missing you all today--we are so pleased we met you and hope to see you in Amsterdam or Australia sometime.

(If you are 'going back' through these pictures --remember that when it stops scrolling--you will have to click on "older posts" in the bottom left side, to keep going back--it goes back a very long way--to May 31  !!)
