Travel to Devon

London's trains are hugely popular--in spite of the cost of tickets. I often wonder what all the passenger groups are doing --it's all so hectic.

There are staff on all the main line trains and on every journey our tickets have been inspected--often twice!

Our train was packed and noisy for the journey of over three hours but the journey comfortable, with individual power point access for computers and sometimes free WiFi.

After 3 weeks of sun, the weather deteriorated on the journey and we arrived to cold wind and rain--boo!
