Visit to Blackheath--March

With an acquaintance, Pauline, we visited (and were again well hosted by) cousin John and wife Penny.  After the 'Three Sisters'we went on to some familiar spots--Govatt's Leap, Anvil Rock, the wind-eroded cave and Pulpit Rock-all in the Grose valley

We also saw and some small distinctive lizards

Then, in the Megalong Valley,  we  went on to the 'climbing wall walk' where, after seeing an adult  mixed-nation team in action  on a grade 26 climb, I was astonished to see a boy of 5 YEARS near the top of a grade 13 climb, assisted by his 10 year old brother!!

The father was the belay point and gave permission for my blog photo! Amazing!
