Vivid 2018

This year there was a one way pedestrian traffic flow, which allowed us to cover more of it without long waits or frustrations. It did rain for the last hour we were there, which was not welcome but overall a great display.

We started the walk with a meal with Michael and Kris, in Barangaroo, then walked through to the botanic gardens .

There was an animated  'float' of a mythical indigenous woman and some sound and light effects to resemble storms and bushfires--very well done. The blog is just a selection of some of the displays.

The blog concludes with pics of a  very much small er carnival in Cronulla --with a  very old roundabout and a pic inside the mess tent of a Scout Region Camp that I attended on Sunday.
