Vivid 2024

We went by train with Matt and Steph again and ate sushi at the end of Circular key wharf where the main Vivid sign is. I've kept the picture size small to include more to show the changing scenes on each building we looked at.

After an hour so we repaired again to the City restaurant and I enjoyed a mulled wine (VERY nice) while Mary ate apple pie and cream.

The waitress was a Danish backpacker, so being my entrepreneurial self I messaged friend Janet in Denmark and asked her  to write something in Danish. She obliged and Julie read it and told me it was how Janet and I met through her brother, Peter, in my school class. Julie was very surprised at the coincidence of finding someone with a Danish connection. Janet said she was amazed to be communicating in Danish on the other side of the world! Julie spoke excellent English and was very open and chatty.
