Travelling from the wedding overnight venue to Foxham, we stopped in the historic town of Winchester, home of the first king of England and Alfred the Great-England's greatest leader--ever. Also, the Great Hall-displaying the original round table of King Arthur, majestic Winchester Cathedral (a service in progress) a lovely river walk, with tortoises nearby and really talented professional street musicians playing 13th C music

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
