Today Matt and I explored South West Arm of the Hacking River in very good conditions. I took an underwater shot from the kayak to show how clear the water is--the sea-grass looks as if it is on the surface. At the end of the 'arm'

This afternoon the Joey scouts were introduced to making a fire and cooking damper, by the venture scouts. There were several leaders there, including myself, to meet new parents to the Group. A great success!

Swim at Cronulla Beach today
It continues warm and unusually calm this week, so I went down for a half hour for a swim at a local beach this afternoon. The sea temperature was about 20 Deg C , I would guess and felt really nice. The sea was so clear and I saw a lot

Tonkin to Cronulla
Today, as the sea continues to be very flat, I decided to go as far as Cronulla beach, a few kilometres away and necessitating going further out to sea than normal. It was a good trip and I was able to use the sail for a time, in both directions.

Today we (Agnés , Ludivine, Zilva, Ann and myself) walked from the southern end of Lady Carrington Drive along the Wallaumurra Track, passing through open heathland, then tall forest trees of turpentine and then descending to Bola Creek and rainforest vegetation.
