Blackheath walk and pub night!
Shortly after arrival we set out on a walk towards Bridal Veil Falls--from the back way through to a delightful picnic spot on the stream, complete with waterfall and had lunch. We then walked along the stream towards the Bridal veil falls and admired th moss covered cliffa then walked to Govatt's Leap. Penny returned to the house by car while John and I walked on through Pope's Glen back to Blackheath.
Later that evening we went to a local pub for a Folk and Poetry night.
The main act was an Alan Carswell who is well known for having written 900 songs--had 500 published and winning 12 'Golden Guitar' awards since the '70's.
He was quite a good performer!!
