Christmas 2021 and Huskisson
Another Covid-riddled year, but one where we managed to enjoy a family celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary and saw the reunification of the family with the return of Jacqui and family from England, right in the middle of the harsh restrictions and bans on travel between Australia and other countries.
Just prior to Christmas we had a family holiday in Huskisson, south of Sydney; Alison and family could not join us with work commitments this time. The nearby beach locations were very attractive but had a sinister side too...signs right on the beach!
We also went on a Dolphin watching cruise, like this boat shown here.
Some passengers had paid to jump into a rope net at the back of the boat and be dragged through the water.
Caryl and Will hosted Christmas day and we enjoyed a very relaxed day with a huge variety of food and much activity in the pool
Mary made a splendid Christmas cake and Christmas pudding, which was covered in brandy and lit, as tradition demands, plus a gingerbread house made by Alison and neighbours. All very festive.
