Dead Horse Gap

Today Roger and Lorraine drove us all to Thredbo, where we took the chair lift to Australia's highest restaurant--Eagle's Nest, for a coffee, then we set of in -5 Deg C wind on the track to Dead Horse Gap. It was a perfect walking day nad we managed the 10Kms at a comfortable speed, down to Thredbo Village. We managed a pic of a bright yellowy-breasted bird, near a stream at lunch.

We passed forests of bleached dead trees, from the bushfires some years ago, plus some lush vegetation and many full streams and waterfalls.
