It snowed overnight! The windscreen on our car had frozen snow on it--very hard to remove. Fortunately another friend had 'lifted' the windscreen wipers on all our cars.
The immediate drive was dangerous but after about 500m descent, there was no snow and no rain.
About half way back we stopped at a very small village called 'Collector' with a very nice and busy café called 'Some Café'. We recommend it.

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
