Georges River
Today I explored a short section from a newly-discovered launch ramp at Sandy Point.
This is one of 4 major rivers running W to East in the Sydney basin. It is much larger than our local Hacking River and less picturesque at this river point--but better further upstream. I paddled to a rocky beach promontory --Bald Face Point and took a time delay pic of my arrival (not a 'selfie' !!)
Then took pics between the the two carriageways of the Georges River road Bridge,
Captain Cook Bridge and finally a faint skyline of Sydney CBD.
Weather warm--27 Deg C and very, very humid!
