Kosciuszco--2nd Trip! Last full day
As if doing it once wasn't enough--for some mad reason, Mary, Roger and I decided to do it all again--clockwise this time!
We set off at 8.50am and returned about 4.30pm. The weather was about perfect and there were far fewer people on the route (although a load of schoolkids turned up on the Summit--who had chairlifted their way there.
The final uphill 'challenge" was alleviated by a fascinating discussion with another walker--an economist working in the debt dept of Federal Treasury--who told me the REAL numbers of our national debt and how it compares with other nations. We have no reason to get upset!
