Maianbar again-different kayak
The idea was to use a beautiful afternoon with predicted 20knot winds to test two new sail constructions while also kayaking to a newly-found café across the river in Maianbar.
The first part went well-except the café was full of English people discussing Birmingham (!?).
On the way back--what happened? The wind died of course. Maybe just as well, since one of the sails had a mast that behaved like the drooping stem of a gerberer--the sail almost dipping in the river--very embarrassing.
