Maianbar and wildlife!

Today we kayaked to Maianbar -the café there.

For friends and family of Bella and Emma, I should point out that they are now fully trained in loading kayaks on and off cars and setting up for a kayak trip! Well done girls.

On the way back from the café brightly coloured snake crossed the path in a leisurely way.

Then we kayaked to a small bay where we could shelter from the wind and just enjoy the scenery in silence.

That was followed by lunch,  a sunbathe on a sand-spit and some chilly swimming in very shallow water, before heading back up Burraneer Bay and home.
