Today we revisited Mount Stilwell in sunshine and on the way back saw a second funnel web spider in the grass near the track (and our feet!). They really are big.

Lorraine and Roger found a separate snake--looks like a brown one--very much alive. Ken is reported to have picked it up by it's tail--rather him than me!

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
